تسجيل جديد لبعض أنواع السحالي في محافظة أبين، اليمن

تم جمع 202 عينة من السحالي في هذه الدراسة من خلال رحلات ميدانية تم تنفيذها في الفترة من يوليو 2018م حتى يوليو 2019م في محافظة ابين. تم من خلالها التعرف على أنواع الزواحف التي تنتمي الى تحت رتبة السحالي، كما تم تحديث قائمة الأنواع المصنفة من السحالي في المنطقة، وحفظت العينات في مختبر الأحياء بكلية التربية/ زنجبار – جامعة أبين، برقم متحفي برمز LBZC وهو اختصارًا للسحالي في قسم الأحياء كلية التربية زنجبار. من نتائج الدراسة تم تسجيل انتشار جديد لثمانية أنواع من السحالي في محافظة أبين لم تذكر من قبل في المنطقة وهي: الوحر الصخري Acanthocercus adramitanus من عائلة العظايا Agamidae ، والسحلية هدبية الأصبع ثعبانية الذيل Acanthodactylus opheodurus من عائلة السحالي الحقيقية Lacertidae، وبرص الصخور الحبيبي Bunopus tuberculatus والبرص خشن الذيل Cyrtopodon scabrum والبرص العماني ورقي الأصابع Hemidactylus lemurinus والبرص هايدن Hemidactylus robustus والبرص شبيه هايدن Hemidactylus cf. robustus جميعها تنتمي الى عائلة الأبراص Gekkonidae، وأخيرًا عائلة السقنقوريات Scincidae ممثلة بالدفان Trachylepis tessellata. كما تم وضع خارطة توزيع لهذه الأنواع في المحافظة.
